Formed in when drummer Mark Coffin relocated from California to Kansas City, MO, and started a collaboration with bassist Carl Newberry, and brothers WC (vocals) and Paul Mitchell (guitar). Sharing the influences of Tool, Janes Addiction, Quicksand, and their own abrasive energy, the band soon started playing all around the Mid-West and even having the chance to share the stage with the.

After the release of their first album Tough Row to Hoe in , Sacrifice Isaac took a sudden year hiatus on the count of trying to find a replacement bass player whom they could click with. It wasn't until Gene Abramov came about in , the band was reinstated back on the Mid-Western scene and released their follow-up on Slipdisc.

  • Yet another one cent CD that I have bought on a whim, and not a disappointing buy by any means. While the vocals are a littly raspy and the music does tend to get a little repetitive toward the end of the album it is some good old fashioned Hard Rock and Roll so I must give them props on that one.4/5(1).
